The basics: Paul Sorrento's only card in the '93 Upper Deck set. It seems the farther we get from the beginning of the set, the fewer stars there are. Let's see if we go on a run of stars later.
Card thoughts: Sorrento appears to be rounding the bases after hitting one of his 18 home runs in 1992. Sorrento is another on of my fantasy baseball league regulars from that time. He had one of his better seasons in 1992, so I guess it was an all right pick
Backs are important in '93 UD: Some action at first base. Looks like the A's Lance Blankenship getting back to the bag.
Regarding the blurb under the stats, the Indians shortened the fences in Cleveland Stadium after finishing last in home runs in the majors, by a good margin.
More from '93: The Toni Braxton song "Breathe Again" made its debut on the Billboard Top 40 way up at No. 19 this week in 1993.
