Scott Leius had just enjoyed his most active season when this card was released. He reached career-highs in games, at-bats, hits and doubles.
Card thoughts: It looks like Leius has secured a pop-up (and the letter D) near the pitcher's mound. Two hands!
Backs are important in '93 UD: Leius' performance in 1992 convinced the Twins to give him the starting shortstop job for the 1993 season. But Leius tore his rotator cuff 10 games into the season and missed the rest of the year.
