The basics: This is the second and final appearance of Jay Buhner in the 1993 Upper Deck set. Meanwhile, this is also Ken Griffey Jr.'s second appearance in the set, but we still haven't gotten to his base card.
Card thoughts: This is a weird-but-captivating image that is a Griffey cameo on Buhner's card while also appearing to show Buhner breaking up a Griffey photoshoot.
The M's logo is interesting as the only other examples of that in MLB, I think, is the A's and the O's.
Backs are important in '93 UD: The 1992 season was Buhner's best to date, but he was just entering his prime as his greatest run was from 1995-97.
More from '93: On this date in 1993, Dante Bichette hit the first home run in Colorado Rockies history. It was off the Mets' Bret Saberhagen at Shea Stadium.
