260 - JOE ORSULAK, ORIOLES, OF

The basics: This is the first of two Joe Orsulak cards in the 1993 Upper Deck set. He became a free agent at the end of the 1992 season and has another card later in the set with his new team. That was a little sad, as I recall, as there was something a little satisfying about Orsulak playing for the O's.

Card thoughts: Orsulak ... at the wall!!! ... But it looks like all he did was knock the first "P" over the wall. There's no ball to be found.

Also it's cool that the orange strip behind Orsulak's name can double as the warning track.

Backs are important in '93 UD: Orsulak is now positioned in front of the Green Wall scoreboard in left field at Fenway Park.

More from '93: On this date in 1993, the Blue Jays defeated the Phillies in Game 4 of the World Series, 15-14, by rallying for six runs in the top of the eighth inning to come back from a 14-9 deficit and go up 3-1 in the Series. Paul Molitor, Rickey Henderson and Devon White all had key run-scoring hits in that inning.
